Believing in yourself can be hard…

I had always dreamed of taking my love of games and puzzles and sharing it with the rest of the world. I started making videos and other stuff when I was around 15 years old where I would review games or just lay them with people online. After doing it for about 2 or 3 years I started to get a little distressed about it and lost a lot of motivation. People didn’t seem as interested probably because video games were becoming more popular leaving board games and puzzles in their dust.

I had expressed a little bit of this distress to a friend of mine and told him I was considering stopping and moving on to focus on something new. He was really upset and told me he had always loved seeing me do what I dreamed about and that I was a big inspiration to him. This simple comment raised my spirits so much and kept me going for the next little while. Each time my spirits dropped he would be there to lift me up and push me forward. Eventually, my content began to gain momentum and is now the majority of my income. This friend believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself was the strongest force in me getting to this point. I am so thankful for having a supportive friend like him.
